AccuBite is a wearable Bluetooth device that monitors eating and physical activity and provides actionable feedback via the smartphone app. With a stylish yet inconspicuous design, AccuBite continuously monitors the wearer’s eating habits by analyzing chewing patterns and processes both short- and long-term trends in order to provide the wearer with real-time feedback and view of historical trends. For example, AccuBite is capable of determining when the wearer has eaten too much and urging the user to stop eating, via either headset vibration or app notification. Such feedback allows the user to be more aware of his or her habits and to modify those habits into a healthier lifestyle. AccuBite, by increasing the user’s awareness of his or her personal habits, is a powerful tool in the weight loss effort.
